As a science student, agar agar has been a large part of my life and I always wondered if I could use in the kitchen. Turns out I can! I came across this product and recognizing an old friend from my research days. I used it on several dishes as a substitute for gelatin. It works great, it sets clear and it’s easy to control the setting as it gels right as your cheek no longer feels warmth. Using this was a lot of fun, making it many times in the lab, now it’s in my pantry!
